Adult & Water Aerobics

RCC offers Adult swim classes for students of all skill levels. Our classes provide the safety of a group setting, while maintaining individualized lesson plans for each student.

Adult swim classes include classes for beginner and advanced swimmers, in addition to water aerobics classes for all ages, as well as ages 55+. Patrons 55 an older receive a 50 percent senior discount on adult swim classes and water aerobics.

Deep Water Mania

13+

Run and bicycle in deep water to achieve a great cardiovascular workout. Participants should consult with a physician before starting this program.

Aqua Burn

13+

This is a complete program providing routines for warm up, stretching, toning, and cardiovascular improvement. Participants should consult with a physician before starting this program.

Arthritis, Fibromyalgia & Multiple Sclerosis 13+ Classes will be taught by a certified instructor and will include a warm up, an aerobic portion, and a cool down for an exercise period of thirty minutes. Participants should consult with a physician before starting this program. 
Advanced Arthritis, Fibromyalgia & Multiple Sclerosis 13+ Classes will be taught in deep water and students should be comfortable swimming in deep water. Participants should consult with a physician before starting this program. 

Drop-In Water Aerobics

Tides in Motion 13+ This is the ultimate water aerobics program for all ages. Benefits include toning major muscle groups, improving aerobic capacity, balance, and circulation. All exercises are conducted in shallow water using upbeat music for motivation. Participants should consult with a physician before starting this program.
Fit After Fifty 50 This is an adult program for the serious exerciser who wants a high-level, aerobic workout. Set to a faster tempo than the senior exercise class, this program is not for the beginning exerciser. Participants should consult with a physician before starting this program.
Senior Water Exercise 55+ This class is suitable for non-swimmers and swimmers alike. This exercise program is designed to promote a feeling of fitness and well-being. Participants should consult with a physician before starting this program.
Aqua Mixer 13+ This deep water program will provide participants with a completely non-impact workout. The class is designed to enhance cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, muscular endurance, and overall toning. Participants should consult with a physician before starting this program.
Aqua Blast 13+ Feel the resistance and buoyancy of the water to improve balance, coordination, strength, and aerobic capacity. The workout will be deep water and will include a cardio segment to improve cardio respiratory circulation, movements to increase strength and muscle capacity, plus flexibility exercises to increase range of motion. Participants should consult with a physician before starting this program.
Aqua Barre  13+

New for Fall 2018. Bringing ballet-inspired movements to the water, this program is designed to strengthen arms, legs and especially the core. Students will use a noodle as a ballet barre for stability. Exercises will lengthen, strengthen and improve muscle tone. Participants must be comfortable in deep water.

Aqua Boot Camp  13+ New for Fall 2018. This deep-water, high-intensity workout uses core strengthening, cardio and range of motion exercises to help you reach your fitness goals. Participants must be comfortable in deep water.
