January 9 – February 4 • Jo Ann Rose Gallery

Reception: Sunday, January 14 • 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Reston artist Rudy Guernica’s exhibit Lost in the Woods will be in the Jo Ann Rose Gallery at Reston Community Center Lake Anne from January 9 – February 4. Guernica studied at MICA and the Art Institute of Chicago and has exhibited in Chicago, New York, and the Washington DC area. The exhibit includes paintings inspired by hiking local trails and variations of source photos passed through “art filters” from graphic programs that transform digital data into artistic media and styles. It questions the perception of the creative process and aesthetics as well as the role of the camera and computers in the making of art.

The Jo Ann Rose Gallery is located at Reston Community Center Lake Anne, 1609-A Washington Plaza, and is open Monday through Saturday 9:00am to 9:00pm and Sundays 9:00am to 8:00pm. The exhibit is free to the public. There will be a reception for the artist on Sunday, January 14 from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.
